The Opportunity.
We are currently looking for a bilingual HR Coordinator to join our HR team for 12 months. This role will provide crucial support for the daily operations of the HR department, ensuring smooth administrative processes and effective communication across the firm.
Responsibilities.
- Provide administrative support for firm’s HR systems and assist with various HR operations.
- Lead the onboarding and orientation process for new team members
- Manage the offboarding process for departing team members
- Assist with preparing HR documents, including offer letters, policy updates, and employment verifications
- Translate HR communications from English to French as required
- Update employee data in the HRIS and generate regular reports for internal teams
- Prepare and distribute the monthly HR newsletter
- Provide support for the firm’s student recruitment program
- Lead health and safety initiatives and advise on Occupational Health & Safety provincial committees.
- Other duties may be assigned or amended as required
Qualifications, competencies and experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in HR administration is considered an asset
- Proficiency in French and English
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Familiarity with HRIS systems, specifically Dayforce/Ceridian is considered an asset
- Excellent organizational and project management skills to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with the ability to adapt to new technologies
